Dr. Natalie Fikac has over 30 years of experience in education as a professional educator serving as a teacher, reading interventionist, professional school counselor, campus and district level administrator. She holds a Masters Degree in School Counseling and Administration and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, and has also worked at the Texas Education Agency and the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health at the University of Texas at Austin on mental and behavioral health initiatives. She lives by the motto “You can’t pour from an empty cup” and aspires to promote self-preservation and self-compassion practices in all areas of her life. She is passionate about growing leaders and learners as a Certified Dare to Lead ™ Trainer trained by Dr. Brené Brown, Stress Management and Resiliency Trainer (SMART), a Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher and an ICF-Credentialed coach.
When Natalie isn't training, consulting, or supporting clients, she is most likely watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand, planning or enjoying a new travel adventure, listening to live music (preferably U2, Texas country or reggae), exploring nature while barefoot, embracing the magic of a sunset, spoiling her animals, or making memories with family and friends.
